Bahçeşehir University Nutrition and Dietetics Thesis Master's Program is an educational program that aims to provide in-depth knowledge and skills in the fields of nutritional sciences and dietetics in order to improve the health of individuals. Within the scope of this program, students are provided with the competence to develop nutritional strategies for healthy living, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. In addition, students are aimed to specialize in various fields such as clinical, community health and sports nutrition. Students can follow innovations in the field of nutrition and dietetics using scientific research methods and develop their professional practices in the field of health. |

Only students who have graduated from the Nutrition and Dietetics undergraduate program can apply to this program. Applicants are expected to have the ALES standard score determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the Institute Board of Directors in the numerical score type. The application requirements and other application requirements determined by the Institute Board of Directors in accordance with the decision of the Department Board regarding the program are announced in the periods specified in the academic calendar. |
The master's program with thesis consists of a total of 24 credits and 120 ECTS. Students must be successful in 8 courses consisting of compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum and Thesis 1 - Seminar and Thesis 2 courses. In order to graduate from this program, it is necessary to successfully complete all the courses in the program and to have a weighted grade point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.00. |
Only candidates with a bachelor's degree in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics can be accepted to the Non-Thesis Master's Program in Nutrition and Dietetics. |
Our students who choose the Nutrition and Dietetics master's program have the opportunity to work in many areas, such as public and private health institutions at different levels, rehabilitation centers, outpatient diagnosis and treatment centers, centers providing education and consultancy services, organizations providing home care services, sports centers, and non-governmental organizations carrying out health projects, after completing their education process. |
Students who successfully complete their master's degree in this program can study in doctoral programs in their own fields or in related fields, provided that they receive a passing score from the ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of the English language. |
