Course Objectives: | Students are exposed to different processes seen in organisations, and their importance both at the strategic and operational levels. Difference as well as similarities among manufacturing and service operations are discussed. Basic management tools used at the operational level of production and service organisations are presented. Moreover, students are asked to prepare a project to personally observe at least one of the course topics in an organisation of their choice. |
