Course Objectives: | The goal of this course is to examine the system and the concepts of information system. Students learn analysis and design of the information system. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Explain the concepts of the system and information systems 2. Define information system development process and process models 3. Prepare and present feasibility report and system proposal 4. Collect data 5. Describe and use systems analysis and design methods 6. Use object-oriented analysis and design tools and methods 7. Develop system analysis and design application with a group work |
The content of this course is composed of the Introduction to System Analysis and Design, the types of information system and information systems, The process of the Information System Development, Systems Analyst Duties and Skills, Preliminary Investigation and Feasibility Analysis, System Analysis: Data Collection, System Analysis: Process Modeling, System Analysis: Data Modeling, System Design, Database Design, Interface Design, Object Oriented Analysis, Object Oriented Design , CASE tools and Presentation of projects. |
