Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach the students the fundamentals of sport management and to provide information about the scope and structure of sport organisations.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
The student knows the basic theories of Sport Management and identifies the scope of sport business.
He/she can identify the main business factors relevant to sport companies and associations.
The student understands the role of management disciplines in sport organizations.
He/she is able to distinguish the specific nature of sport products and explain the different aspects that make sport different from conventional business.

Governance and management concepts for the property management of sports organizations
Basic topics of sports organisations and management
Definition of Management, meaning and importance of management functions; planning, organising
Definition of Production, meaning and development, manufacturing strategy, sports production strategies in the management
