Course Objectives: The main objective of this course is to develop solutions on disputes regarding Commercial Enterprises and Commercial transactions and to determine the rights and obligations of the Natural or the legal person that run the commercial enterprise, in a contractual relationship within the scope of the Turkish Commercial Code and other relevant legislation.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I. Define Commercial Enterprise by its components and classify the types of enterprises.

II. Apply the provisions in Turkish Commercial Code regarding Commercial Affairs and the Merchant.

III. Classify the Commercial Law Suits according to the type of matters in dispute.

IV. Determine the behaviours constituting Unfair Compatition and apply the provisions in the Turkish Commercial Code.

V. Differentiate between the Agency and other Interagencies

VI. Name the Commercial Papers and classify them by their distinctive features.

VII. Outline the circulation of the Bill of Exchange and determine the obligors

VIII. Determine the provisions regarding bad cheque and dishonor in the Turkish Commercial Code and Cheque Code.
