Course Objectives: | Basic concepts in health law, rights of patients and health workers, criminal, legal and professional responsibilities, informed proclamation, processes leading to medical application errors, documentation and insurance systems; case examples and judicial decisions. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; "Learning Outcomes: Your student; basic concepts in health law and patient physician relations; comparative situation analysis of medical practice errors, patient and health professional rights, criminal, legal and professional responsibilities of health professionals; reasons for compliance with medical intervention; legislation on medical intervention, professional responsibility and ethical approach; the process leading to medical application errors; offenses related to medical activities; evaluation of erroneous medical practices from criminal law perspective; the evaluation of faulty medical interventions in terms of compensation law; medical application errors and expertise; patient related documentation procedures; claims of medical application errors and media; medical application errors and insurance system issues; case examples and judicial decisions.
