Course Objectives: To gain the knowledge and skills to follow the technological developments in the field of health and to use technological products with proven safety and effectiveness in patient care. To teach medical technological systems / devices used in health care and their advantages and disadvantages.

1. Express the basic concepts of health technology.
2. Knows health care technology.
3. Express the effect and importance of the use of technology in the field of health.
4. Select new developing care products and use them in practice.
5. Expresses the importance of nursing roles and responsibilities related to health care technology.
6. Defines health and nursing informatics.

Medical technologies, the development of technology and care technologies in the historical process of medicine, nanotechnology, biomedical technology, introduction to medical devices, ECG device, the importance of advanced mattress systems & lift systems in patient care, defibrillators, innovations in surgical care technologies, fetal monitor, innovations in operating room technologies, new generation endovision systems, life findings & inpatient monitoring, patient care high-tech new generation consumables, infusion pumps, vascular discovery device, innovations in home care technologies, CIS in intensive care (Clinic Information Systems)"
