Course Objectives: | In this course, it is aimed to be learned definition and etiology of orthodontic anomalies, treatments of orthodontic malocclusions, fixed and removable appliances, orthodontic biomechanics, anchorage and interdisciplinary treatment. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of the course, you will be able to: 1. Know and explain the Orthodontic anomalies and their treatments. 2. Explain the preventive, interceptive and corrective orthodontic treatments. 3. Describe the orthodontic appliances. 4. Explain orthodontic biomechanics. 5. Explain orthodontic tooth movement and its biological essentials. 6. Make definition of the classification of cleft lip and palate. 7. Explain the adult orthodontics and orthognathic surgery. |
