Course Objectives: | This course have two main aims: First, Exploring intermediate and advanced techniques of the photographic medium like design, composition and perception in a formal tendency. Second, Creating the relation between context and photographic medium in a contextual tendency. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; I. Name basic elements of composition II.Acknowledge the narrative role of photography III. Define the relation between concepts, contexts and Photographic Practices IV. Compare use of visual elements in differnet photographic genres. V. Show dexrerity in use of visual elements in various photographic practices and genres VI. Gain ability to control camera variables in order to create a meaning |
Photographic genres like documentary, portrait, abstract and news photography and their relation with formal formation, artistic creation and space will be the main topics of this course. |
