Course Objectives: Using nursing models and theories in accordance with the student's nursing philosophy and individual needs; to provide knowledge and skills to protect and develop health of individual, family and community, to diagnose health problems, to plan, implement and evaluate appropriate interventions.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
"1. Understands the nature and process of nursing.
2. Determine the problems of the healthy / sick individual, plan, implement and evaluate the care process according to a model.
3. Takes safety precautions for the patient.
4. Comprehends and applies patient acceptance and discharge, bed making.
5. Understands and applies hot and cold applications.
6. Comprehends and applies self-care applications.
7. Knows asepsis and applies asepsis rules.
8. Understand and apply oral and parenteral drug applications.
9. Understands and applies excretion, respiratory and urinary system applications."

Course Content

In line with the Life Model Based Nursing Model; data collection for health diagnostics, patient movement and body mechanics, patient acceptance and discharge, hot and cold application, self-care applications, asepsis, drug applications, excretory, respiratory and urinary system and theoretical applications and applications for applications.
