Course Objectives: |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Gain a knowledge of project management, team management, conflict resolution. 2. Gain a knowledge of engineering design, usability, and integration. 3. Gain a knowledge of engineering constraints. 4. Gain a knowledge of measurement and verification of a product. 5. Gain a knowledge of innovation, entrepreneurship, patent and useful model protection. 6. Identify an engineering problem and divide it into smaller sub problems to apply previous knowledge to solve each sub problem. 7. Produce alternative solutions to the problem and analyze different solutions in terms of cost, time, work, maintenance, efficiency etc. 8. Prepare a project proposal that includes a complete design and plan of execution taking into consideration engineering constraints. 9. Gain a knowledge of engineering standards and apply them in a project design. 10. Gain research, report writing and presentation skills. |
