Course Objectives: |
In this course, we will describe the main causes of social, economic and political inequality. We will evaluate importance of political, economic, and social forces in creating and sustaining inequality. The significance of race, ethnicity and gender will be analyzed, too. We will also describe the use of social policy to mitigate inequality and the role of “class”. |
