Course Objectives: To train health professionals who identify and evaluate the problems in the field of health law, offer solutions to the conflicts that arise, have scientific research skills, have a good grasp of the legal regulations and assimilate ethical principles.
Within the scope of the course, by explaining the basic concepts of law, medical law and ethics, it is aimed to provide an understanding and understanding of patient rights and legal responsibility of physicians and nurses in accordance with international declarations and medical and nursing ethics.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Will be able to understand the basic concepts of law,
2. In the light of current developments in the field of health, they will have information about the main sources, legislation and judicial decisions related to health law,
3. Understanding the relationship between the concepts, institutions and methods of the disciplines related to the field of health law,
4. To produce solutions in the light of current developments by speculating on individual and social problems related to health law,
5. Will be able to develop a different perspective on disputes in the field of health law,
6. Questioning and developing legal concepts, established practices and rules,
7. Information on the field of health law and sub-disciplines will be acquired and scientific and ethical principles will be internalized,
8. You will make justice and ethical understanding prevail in health.
