Course Objectives: To examine the application theories for social work practice with individuals, families and groups from the point of view of general social service, to understand the theoretical framework of application levels and to gain social service knowledge and skills with individuals, families and groups.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Learn about the problems and requirements for clients
Learn the purpose and use of social servise for clients
Learn the skills and knowledge of helping clients with social services, involving them in the helping process and maintaining them with a supportive approach
Gain knowledge and skills in social investigation, evaluation and report preparation
Gain planning knowledge to solve the problems of the cilents and meet their needs

Course Content

It is expected that the learners acquire knowledge and skills about the theoretical basis of the profession, the principles of implementation, the individual, the group, the family and the society and the social service process in line with the general social service approach.
