Course Objectives: The aim is to ensure that students of the health services vocational school have general knowledge about health law and regulations, develop awareness of being able to access, understand and research legal regulations throughout their professional lives, understand the importance of practicing their profession in accordance with ethical principles and legal regulations in their professional lives, and to train dedicated and sensitive healthcare professionals by understanding the importance of healthcare professions with high moral values.

Course Content

By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
Explain the basic concepts of law and health law. Understand the importance of medical documents and informed consent. Define patient and employee rights.
Explain the principles of lawful medical intervention.
Explain the regulations regarding the protection of personal data. Distinguish between the concepts of malpractice, intent, and negligence.
Explain contractual relationships, crime, and punishment regulations.
Evaluate the legal aspects of digital health applications and artificial intelligence. Analyze situations related to health law through case examples.

13) Applies laboratory hygiene, safety, waste management, and sterilization procedures, and monitors routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of laboratory instruments.
