Course Objectives: The first objective of this course is to train nurse human power who will carry the profession forward in every way, produce solutions to its problems with scientific approaches, add innovations. The second purpose is to discuss the developments in the fields of professionalization and scientification in nursing with this understanding, to see the students' own responsibilities and positions in maintaining this labor from now on, to examine the nursing theories chronologically, which form the basis for maintaining holistic care.

At the end of this course
1. The student can realize the developments of nursing in the process of independence / professionalization and scientification from medicine
2. The student can see his/her own responsibility in the professionalization and scientification process in nursing
3. The student can examine a case according to a nursing model/theory and evaluate the suitability of the theory for the clinic
