Course Objectives: | To introduce students to health informatics terminology and nursing informatics concepts and practices in the light of developments in information technologies, to provide information on the creation, use, storage, management of nursing data, and transformation into information and information. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of this course, students will: 1. Knows the basic concepts of health informatics, 2. Have knowledge about the basic concepts and history of nursing informatics, 3. Learns basic computer skills used in the field of health, 4. Have information about e-health and tele-health applications in Turkey, 5. Have knowledge about clinical information systems, nursing coding and classification systems, 6. Understands the importance of data integrity, use of common nursing terminology and electronic patient records, 7. Understands the security and ethical importance of health data, 8. Understands the importance of information, informatics and information technologies in nursing, 9. Gains the necessary skills for information management in nursing. 10. Can follow innovations in information technologies used in patient care and monitoring. |
