1. Define personality and subsystems of personality
2. Define factors that affect personality development
3. Recognize basic concepts of personality theories
4. Recognize strength and weakness of personality theories
5. Comprehend cultural perspectives of each personality theory and evaluate the applications on different cultures.
6. Examine the development of personality characteristics within the framework of personality theories
7. Compare different personality theories

Course Content

Basic concepts of personality, personality development, mental health and adaptation, characteristics of personality theories, comparison of personality theories, relating personality theories with field practices.
