Course Objectives: | The overall aim of this course, the characteristics of chronic diseases, to gain knowledge and skills in the course and stages, the basic principle concepts for related chronic diseases in various organs in the elderly, with methods and techniques, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, care procedures, teach rehabilitation and prevention. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Chronic disease definition, features, information about the course and stages owner 2. The importance of the community of chronic diseases, epidemiology, prevention and control, the relationship between mortality and morbidity, disease screening, to be informed about the importance of screening tests 3 respiratory changes due to aging COPD, asthma, chronic bronchitis and learn the principles of care 4. Aging-dependent changes in the cardiovascular system of heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, and learn the principles of care 5. Diabetes mellitus, other endocrine diseases, chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal system and learn the care ilkerini 6 to have knowledge about chronic kidney disease and care principles |
