Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to develop an understanding on the relevance of theory in architectural design and practice concentrating on the second half of the 20th century. The writings of architects and architectural theoricians on architectural theory, design and practice will be explored for understanding the essence of contemporary architecture. |

This course discusses the contemporary architectural discourse on the selected readings. Teaching methods and techniques in this course are lectures, individual study, readings, and discussion. |
