Course Objectives: Aim of study is teaching Importance of maritime transport, integration of other transport modes, institutes of maritime transportation sector, port management, financial structures of maritime sector, port management and operations, container transportation, freight, European Union and Turkey's Maritime Transport Policiys, custom regulations, international maritime agreements, International Maritime Organization (IMO) activities, Maritime Insurence, cargo operations, port operations organisation and management, container, bulk cargo market conditions and operations.

4) Port project and investment analysis, ports operation management Students will be directed to do some preparation about the forthcoming subjects one week before
5) Cargo operations at ports, capacity planning, line optimization, vessel route and cost analysis Students will be directed to do some preparation about the forthcoming subjects one week before
