Course Objectives: Because of the increase in the importance of foreign trade operations and related corporations, this course aims to provide comprehensive theoretic and application oriented information in legal, administrative and technical topics of foreign trade field.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1- Gains mastery in basic technical concepts of foreign trade operations and understands the differences between foreign trade and local trade.
2- Understands the general structure of customs, import-export and exchange promotion regulations that issue Turkey's foreign trade.
3- Learns the documents that are used in foreign trade operations, learns where to use them and how to use them. Develops the ability to apply the documents in the proper way.
4- Understands risk and burden sharing in the transportation process of imported and exported goods from seller to customer in foreign trade operations. Gains ability in application.
5- Learns official commercial institutions, autonomous establishments and their functions in case of a problem in commercial operations.
