Course Objectives: About banking law. To have a grasp of general prenciples of insurance law, to learn the operation of insurance system and features of insurance agreements.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Objective and systematic analysis of banking law.
2. To be able to explain the specific conditions fort he establishment of banks.
3. Classification of banks according to their characteristics and issues.
4. To be knowledgeable about the legal regulations that corcern banking.
5. To be able to draw the scheme of the banking organization.
6. Analyze the organization, features and endings of the insurance contracts.
7. To be able to classify the insurance agreements according to their qualifications and subjects.
8. To be able to draw the scheme of the insurance organization.
9. To be able to distinguish the tasks and benefits that the organizations of banking and insurance have.

Banking Law, Banking Organization Scheme ( Banking Corporation, BDDK, TCMB, TMSF, TBB ),Classification of banks, Establishment licence, establishment conditions, qualifications of founders, withdrawal of establisment licence, Organizaton and bodies of banks, Internal auditing- external auditing-Measures to be taken as a result of auditing, takeover, merger and liquidation of banks, The concept of insurance, Features of insurance contracts
Supervision of the insurance companies , The rights and liabilities of the insurer.

2) Classification of banks.
3) Establishment licence, establishment conditions, qualifications of founders, withdrawal of establisment licence.
4) Activity permit, requirements, cancellation of the activity permit and classification in banks.
5) Changes in banks’ main contracts and shareholders.
6) Organizaton and bodies of banks.
7) Internal auditing- external auditing
8) Merger and liquidation of banks
9) The concept of insurance
10) Features of insurance contracts
11) Supervision of the insurance companies.
12) The end of the insurance contracts
13) Conpensation and subragation of the insurer.
14) The rights and liabilities of the insurer.
