Course Objectives: To study social security systems which have been established to protect workers against working life risks that may cause a loss in the working ability. To define development, instruments, legal nature, and branches of social security system and understand the basic structure and functioning of the social security system in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes

2 Solve problems that may be faced during anytime in the course of life within the framework of social security system.

12) Be able to write active reports using foreign languages and Turkish, understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, make effective presentations, give clear and understandable instructions.
13) Be able to have knowledge about the effects of engineering applications on health, environment and security in universal and societal dimensions and the problems of engineering in the era and the legal consequences of engineering solutions.
