Course Objectives: This course is aimed to examine the negotiable instruments and solve the problems arise in practice, within the light of the Supreme Court decisions and the doctrine.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I. Students will learn to identify the distinctive features by different types of negotiable instruments, and be able to solve practical problems.
II. Students will understand and gain the ability to apply to the cancellation or restitution processes in practice, in case of loss or damage of the bills of exchange
IV. Students will understand the rules and principles applied widely to check the field of trade and have the ability to solve the legal issues arise from the implementation of these rules in practive
V. Students will identify and apply the provisions of Turkish Commercial Law and the Law of Checks in cases of bad check and non-payment
