Course Objectives: Securities are distinguished in two sections as guarantee in personam (personal) and guarantee in rem (real) according to the authority which they provide. In guarantees in rem, a real right on an object is provided to the creditor in order to acquire his credit.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
I. He explains the concepts related to real estate pledge.
II. He determines the characteristics of the mortgage.
III. He analyzes the establishment of mortgages in foreign currencies.
IV. He distinguishes mortgage from mortgage bonds and annuity charge bonds.
V. He analyzes how to establish pledge in practice.
VI. He evaluates the provisions on the establishment of a pledge agreement on vehicles.
VII. He determines the provisions regarding the establishment of pledge on claims and rights.
