1) Introduction to the course Unit 1- The world of healthcare; Places and people: Be aware of, and arouse interest in, the topics for the unit Understand and practice target vocabulary: sectors of the healthcare industry Pronounce numbers 1-10 and words for healthcare facilities and jobs (pages 6/7) Stated in the course syllabus.
2) Unit 1- The world of healthcare; Keep it healthy: Understand visual and spoken information about healthcare Pronounce names of healthcare sectors and jobs with correct stress Stated in the course syllabus.
3) Unit 1- The world of healthcare; a or an / singular or plural: Understand the difference between a and an Recognize and say singular and plural nouns The world of healthcare; meeting the patient: Introduce a conversation or a talk Stated in the course syllabus.
