PHYSIOTHERAPY (TURKISH)


Profile of the Program

Purpose of the Physiotherapy Program; Is to train technical health personnel who will be able to work in all branches that have physiotherapy in health institutions and can assist physiotherapy specialists. Our institution which provides education service in the field of health is aimed to train auxiliary workforce closely following developments in its field, having high communication skills, respectful to ethical values, susceptible to teamwork, problem solving, quick grasp, and environmentally unaffected labor force.

Qualification Awarded

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Fizyoterapi Teknikeri

Level of Qualification

This is a Associate (Short Cycle) program.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students are accepted through the YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Upon successful completion along with the qualifications of the program, (the 5th level) Associate degree is given in the field of Physiotherapy.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who are selected by Student Selection and Placement center and who complete their admition process are eligible to attend the school.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates from this program will be the students' Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, which is part of all public and private healthcare organizations the ability to work is available newborn from the adults and the elderly all age groups, physical therapists and physical therapists under the supervision of the required professional physical therapy services can provide. Rehabilitation centers, spa-cure centers, private clinics, sports clubs, nursing homes for health tourism in the hydrotherapy unit can work in hotels.

Access to Further Studies

Physiotherapy program students may apply to Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate program via external transfer exam (DGS).

1 Physiotherapy related to the field of theoretical and practical information you can use on a basic level.

3 It interprets and evaluates data using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field of physiotherapy, identifies and analyzes the problems, and takes part in the planned studies for the solution.
4 It can evaluate and apply vocationally the information obtained from theoretical and applied courses at the basic level supported by lecture notes, application tools, visual-objective resources in the field of physiotherapy.
5 Using basic knowledge and skills in the field of physiotherapy, they can interpret and evaluate data, identify problems, analyze them, develop solutions based on evidence.
6 Scientific, cultural and ethical values ​​in the stages of collecting, interpreting, implementing and reporting results related to the field of physiotherapy.
7 As an individual, he may act in accordance with laws, regulations, legislation and professional ethics rules regarding his duties, rights and responsibilities.
8 Using a basic knowledge of the field of physiotherapy, an assigned task can be performed independently.
9 It can work as a team member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in practice related to the field of physiotherapy.
10 Issues related to the field of physiotherapy have the basic knowledge and skills in using information about the people and institutions; ideas and proposals for solutions to the problems of written and oral transfer.
11 Basic knowledge acquired in the field of physiotherapy and skills to critically evaluate them.
