Profile of the Program

Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon alanında bağımsız araştırma planlayıp gerçekleştirebilen, elde ettiği verileri bilim ve insanlığın yararına sunabilen, sağlık rehabilitasyon sistemlerinde kalite yönetimine, yaşam kalitesinin yükseltilmesine katkı sağlayacak araştırma sonuçlarını, tedavinin iyileştirilmesi sürecine sistematik biçimde yansıtılmasını sağlayacak modeller olarak önerebilen bilim doktoru fizyoterapistler yetiştirmektir. Bilime yenilik getirme, yeni bir bilimsel yöntem geliştirme veya bilinen yöntemi yeni bir alana uygulayabilme amacıyla tamamlanan tez çalışması sonrası fizyoterapistler alanlarında yeterli, yetkin ve uluslararası düzeyde bilgili bilim doktoru olarak görevler üstlenebilmelidirler.

Students who complete this program receive the title of Doctor.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who will continue their education at Bahçeşehir University may be exempted from the courses they took at the previous education institution within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken is in accordance with the content of the course given at BAU and approved by the relevant faculty dean, the student may be exempted from this course.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

In this program, physiotherapists who can carry out and develop their clinical and academic studies in specialized fields in physiotherapy and rehabilitation are trained. Graduates of physiotherapy and rehabilitation doctoral program are able to support and guide the society, support participation in physical activity, and work to improve the quality of life in the light of physiotherapy and rehabilitation-specific measures by improving functions.
