Profile of the Program

The mission of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is to provide its graduates with the knowledge and skills needed for high-quality engineering work and to graduate individuals who are conscious of professional and ethical responsibilities and who are committed to life-long learning.

Qualification Awarded

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science without Thesis

Specific Admission Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from a relevant 4-year undergraduate program. * Evidence of English Language Proficiency — a minimum score of 65 from ÜDS, 65 from KPDS, 79 from IBT- TOEFL, 65 from BAU English Exam. * Language scores are valid for 2 years. It is also possible to register as a special student (temporarily), if you can not document your English score yet. Qualification Requirements and Regulations

A student who successfully completes 10 graduate level courses, a master's project, and 90 ECTS credits with a minimum GPA of 3.00 is awarded the M.Sc. (without thesis) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Recognition of Prior Learning

For transfer students from other institutions, prior learning is cretidited in coordination with regulations set forth by the Higher Education Council of Turkey and Adaptation Commission at Bahcesehir University.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program can work in civilian electronics and communication systems, radio and television, automotive industries and consulting or in military electronics industry. They can also continue careers in higher education or research centers as researchers and academicians.

Access to Further Studies

Students who successfully complete Master's degree without Thesis cannot apply to doctoral programs.
