Profile of the Program

Although the program itself is not interdisciplinary, it aims to equip graduate students with a foundation in Ottoman history as well as comparative history. The methodological infrastructure required by historical research is among the important aspects of the program in this sense. The program language is Turkish. BAU History master's program focuses on Ottoman History. As a period, it covers the pre-tanziamt period starting from the foundation period.

Specific Admission Requirements

Candidates who fulfill the minimum requirements set by the BAU Graduate School are eligible for an interview. Evaluation criteria are as follows: Undergraduate Grade Point Average: %40 Interview Score: %60

Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Non-Thesis Master's degree in History.

Recognition of prior learning in this program is carried out according to Bahçeşehir University Graduate Education and Training Regulations.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Students graduating from this program; Research companies and public research groups, They can pursue careers in ministries, national archives, and work on historical preservation, restoration and tourism projects. Historians working in the media and publishing sector can prepare articles, books, documentaries and films on history.
