Profile of the Program

Master of Business Administration program aims to provide students the latest information in business administration and management and to renew the existing knowledge, containing all business administration functions. The aim of the program is also to prepare leaders equipped with analysis and problem solving skills and critical and creative thinking abilities, being able to make and maintain effective relations, applying teamwork in the most efficient way, taking initiative and administering risk and change, at the same time applying the values of business ethics.

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration

Specific Admission Requirements

1) ALES, GMAT or GRE score is required for the applicants who apply to graduate programs with Thesis. Minimum requirement for application is ALES: 55 or GMAT: 450 or GRE: 610. 2) Applicants are required to hold the following English Proficiency Exam Score (YDS: 65, TOEFL: 79, Pearson PTE Academic: 68, Bahçeşehir University Proficiency Exam Score: 65) 3) Undergraduate Diploma 4)Official Transcript 5) identity card 6) Two reference letters

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

to take a minimum of 10 courses with a minimum of 30 local credits and a non-credit semester project which is graded on a pass/fail basis. to succeed in all the courses with a letter grade of at least CC/S to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.00/4.00 with a minimum of 90 ECTS credits.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Full-time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related bylaws. If the content of the course previously taken in another institution is equivalent to the course offered at BAU, then the student can be exempted from this course with the approval of the related faculty/graduate school after the evaluation of the course content.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

At the end of the program the students acquire a strong basis in business administration and management areas in order to be able to take charge in companies that have been institutionalized either in Turkey or in the world.

Access to Further Studies

The students graduating from this program may apply to doctorate programs.

1 Developing strategies, policies and implementation plans to address the issues in the fields of business administration and management, and evaluating the consequences according to the processes of quality,
2 Broadening and deepening the knowledge about business administration at the master’s level based on the undergraduate level qualifications,
3 Comprehending the interaction across various disciplines related to the field of business administration, and evaluating the knowledge and skills gained on an interdisciplinary dimension,
4 Using theoretical and practical information and skills gained at the expertise level in the field business administration,
5 Analyzing problems requiring expertise in the field business administration by using scientific research methods,
6 Evaluating a problem in the business administration field independently, developing a way for solution, solving the problem and evaluating the results,
7 Developing new strategic approaches to solve unforeseen complex issues in the business administration field through integrative and creative elaboration,
8 Evaluating the knowledge related to the field of business administration through critical perspective,
9 Communicating systematically the recent developments and one’s individual studies in the field of business administration to the groups within and outside the field via written, oral and visual presentations,
10 Analyzing the social relations and the norms through critical perspective, developing effective relations, training leaders who are capable of sustaining these social relations, applying teamwork and managing risk and change in the field of business administration.
