Profile of the Program

The aim of the PhD Program in Business Administration is to train graduates with management skills applicable in global markets and researchers capable of making original scientific contributions in the field of business. The program aims to deepen students' theoretical knowledge and develop leaders and research-oriented academics in the business world.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The program consists of all the courses specified in the curriculum, the Doctoral Qualifying Examination, and thesis preparation and defense. Students must complete all their coursework within four semesters. After successfully completing their assignments, students who pass the Doctoral Qualifying Examination are eligible to begin their doctoral thesis. Under the supervision of an advisor, students complete their thesis and defend it before a jury. Those who successfully defend their thesis complete the program and earn their doctoral degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

If the content of a course taken at another institution is deemed equivalent and appropriate to the course offered in the program, and this equivalency is approved by the relevant Department Board and the Faculty Administrative Board, the student may be exempted from that course.

The General Business PhD Program aims to equip its graduates with advanced theoretical and practical expertise in fields such as investment, accounting, production, marketing, and strategic management. The program is designed to cultivate academics and researchers who are capable of contributing both nationally and internationally in these areas, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the academic and business worlds.

Access to Further Studies

Students who successfully complete the program can apply for postdoctoral positions based on their areas of expertise.
