Course Objectives: | Evaluating Turkish Educational System from different perspectives. Investigating school and school administration processes |
The students who have succeeded in this course; • will be able to summarize Turkish education system, in terms of different dimension and major events; • will be able to identify Turkish education system which located in the most extreme schools and school management processes; • will be able to draw the scaffolds of Turkish national education system with detailed elements; • will be able to describe school structure in accordance with the distribution of tasks within the hierarchy; • will be able to identify the issues of Turkish education system as a prospective teacher. |
Basic principles and goals of Turkish educational system, laws related to education and the structure and historical development of Turkish educational system. Classic and modern educational management theories, school management and supervision, human resource management, organizational culture, decision making, planning and evaluation. |
