Course Objectives: | A comprehensive overview of various aspects related with management and general business administration such as strategic planning, organizational development and control, business negotiations, teamwork, perception and attribution, conflict, leadership, problem solving, communication, motivation, business ethics, marketing, sales, cross-cultural differences and their possible impacts in business life as demonstrated throughout the relevant scenes of the films. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; I. Explains and demonstrates the concepts related to Personality, Perception and Attribution. II. Defines and discusses several models related to Motivation Theories. III. Identifies and assesses ethical and non-ethical behaviors in business environments. IV. Defines and distinguishes leadership, management and power (Use /Abuse). V. Exemplifies and demonstrates traditional vs. Contemporary Approaches to Commerce. VI. Explains the elements and the structure of organizational culture. VII. Discusses the importance of communication, teamwork and synergy in business life. VIII. Explains the basics of negotiation and conflict management. IX. Defines and distinguishes different models of decision making and problem solving in business. X. Discusses the importance and of Cross-cultural Differences in Business Management. |
