Course Objectives: | The course aims to give students an intermediate level treatment of game theory to solve basic game theoretical problems. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Defines the basic assumptions of game theory 2. Defines prisoners’ dilemma 3. Defines Nash equilibrium 4. Analyzes dominant and dominated strategies 5. Infers possible outcome of a static game 6. Defines dynamic games 7. Describes backward induction method 8. Infers possible outcome of a static game 9. Models strategic interaction of firms in oligopolistic market structure 10 Models strategic interaction of countries in for environmental agreements |
