Course Objectives: This is an introductory digital media course that will emphasize the integrated use of computer software through various exercises of mapping, documenting, drawing, representing and modeling in order to develop a design idea. The programs used throughout the semester will be Photoshop, Illustrator and Rhino, which will potentially lead to a physical laser cut model.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
- Ability to use appropriate representational media, such as traditional graphic and digital technology skills, to convey essential formal elements at each stage of the programming and design process.

Course Content

This course will comprise of in-class computer sessions, discussions and illustrated lectures. Every student should have a personal computer that he or she will bring to class. All 3 software’s should be downloaded and ready to be used, (Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino)
