Course Objectives: | This is an introductory digital media course that will emphasize the integrated use of computer software through various exercises of mapping, documenting, drawing, representing and modeling in order to develop a design idea. The programs used throughout the semester will be Photoshop, Illustrator and Rhino, which will potentially lead to a physical laser cut model. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - Ability to use appropriate representational media, such as traditional graphic and digital technology skills, to convey essential formal elements at each stage of the programming and design process. |
This course will comprise of in-class computer sessions, discussions and illustrated lectures. Every student should have a personal computer that he or she will bring to class. All 3 software’s should be downloaded and ready to be used, (Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino) |
