Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to examine the role of physical models as a basic expression and three dimensional design tool in the field of architecture and to increase students' ability to actively use them in all processes from the first stage of design to the final stage by learning basic model making techniques.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
- Ability to use appropriate representational media, such as traditional graphic and digital technology skills, to convey essential formal elements at each stage of the programming and design process.

Course Content

Basic model making techniques and safety precautions will be explained.
Materials and hand tools used in model making will be examined and basic techniques to make model making will be explained.
