Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to equip the students in the fundamental principles, techniques and craft of broadcast journalism. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - to gather, write and edit television news stories, - to edit pictures, - to present or news reading on the screen, - to produce news bulletins, - to use necessary technical equipments such as editing, camera - to use online sources for broadcasting. |
The students will learn and produce general broadcast journalism skills, such as researching, writing, news reading and interviewing. Course will also cover news bulletin production, editing and reporting. |
