Course Objectives: The goal of the course is to give the necessary knowledge about acoustics for providing the optimum acoustic conditions in interior space. The students understand the concept and basic terms of architectural acoustics, and will be able to apply the knowledge gained in the course to the interior design projects.

Analyzes and evaluates room acoustics, sound absorbers and their application in interior design, sound insulation and the design principles applicable in interior design projects.
