Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Will be able to explain the interaction between globalization and migration processes.
Will be able to analyze migration structures based on theoretical approaches.
Will be able to evaluate the consequences of migration patterns on a global scale.
Will be able to understand the developing migration structures specific to Türkiye.
Will be able to develop a unique understanding of international migration and related structures based on the literature.

Course Content

In this course, the phenomenon of migration and migration theories, business migration and external migration issues, international migration and the problems, debates and effects of immigrants on societies will be discussed. Field studies will be conducted on migration events affecting Turkey.
