Course Objectives: The course aims to discuss the right to food, which is recognized particularly under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, various international human rights treaties and soft-law instruments by taking into consideration of the evolution of international law vis-a-vis human rights and transnational business activities. It will focus on agricultural supply chains and how food insecurity, rural poverty and climate change stand as key drivers of migration.
