Course Objectives: It aims to learn multidisciplinary (doctor and physiotherapist collaboration) approaches specifically planned and applied to various urological health problems that can be seen in children and adults, and to develop clinical decision-making skills.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Gaining knowledge about lower urinary system and gastrointestinal system disorders ,To learn pelvic floor rehabilitation approaches from a physiotherapist's perspective on bladder and bowel dysfunctions in the pediatric population , To learn pelvic floor rehabilitation approaches with a physiotherapy perspective on pelvic floor dysfunctions in the adult population , Learning the physiology of voiding and defecation, Learning pelvic floor muscle anatomy and innervation, Gaining pelvic floor rehabilitation perspective and clinical decision-making skills

Course Content

Course content includes identification of pediatric and adult population pelvic floor dysfunctions, evaluation of these dysfunctions from a physiotherapy perspective, and pelvic floor rehabilitation approaches.
