Course Objectives: | It is aimed to know the diseases which are common in adult individuals and to grasp the principles of diet specific to diseases, to form diet programs and to practice diet programs. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; "Learning Outcomes: Learn the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of obesity. The definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of cardiovascular diseases and hypertension are covered. Describe the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of eating disorders. Recognize the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of diabetes mellitus and reactive hypoglycemia. Describe the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of gastrointestinal system diseases. Describe the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of skeletal system diseases. Identify the etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of liver-pancreas-biliary diseases and alcohol dependence. Learn the definition, etiology, complications, findings and nutritional therapy of Infection and Inflammation." |
