Course Objectives: To be able to deal with individuals with disabilities as a whole in terms of bio-psycho-social, to gain knowledge, skills and understanding in the protection and development of the health of the disabled person and his / her family

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Discuss the concepts of disability, disability and disability.
They explain the differences between the social model and the medical model.
It applies nursing interventions for acute and chronic health problems, which are most frequently encountered by people with disabilities.
The school participates in health screenings or plans.
Plans, implement and evaluate health promotion programs in line with needs.
Discuss proposals for solutions to problems faced by individuals with disabilities
