Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to train nurses who can provide evidence-based care in order to provide pre-, during and after surgery care for these patients in accordance with the ERAS protocols, foresee possible risks and symptoms in advance and take the necessary precautions in order to make their home care sustainable as soon as possible in the necessity of surgical treatment in adult individuals |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of this course 1. The student can evaluate the patient who will be treated surgically, take the necessary measures by noticing possible questions in advance 2. Prepares the patient for surgery before surgery and delivers him safely to the operating room 3. Can work as a circulating and sterile nurse during the operation process 4. Performs the care requirements in the early period after the operation, monitors / determines the early symptoms of possible complications 5. Prepares the patient for discharge and to be able to continue his life at home |
This course is determined in accordance with the hospital policies evaluation of patients and preparation for the surgical process, head of patient clinic in the clinic it includes observation, anamnesis, evaluation of data. |
