Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to equip students with knowledge and skills for clinical applications by giving information about both soft tissue and hard tissues pathologies of head and neck region, systemic diseases, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and dentist approach.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
1. Know systemic diseases and dental approach to subjects with systemic diseases
2. Know and diagnose common lesions of oral and perioral tissues
3. Describe diagnosis and differential diagnosis of disorders related to the salivary glands.
4. Know sinus pathologies and clinical and radiologic sign and symptoms
5. Describe radiological features of the lesions in the jawbones, making the differential diagnosis of the lesions, associating them with clinical signs and symptoms.
6. Know and compare radiological features of the benign and malign lesions in the jawbones and craniofacial anomalies
7. Explain dentist approach to patients with disabilities
8. Explain Psychological and Psychiatric Aspects of Oral Health

Systemic disease and dental approach, common lesions in oral soft tissues; symptoms of sinus pathologies and salivary gland diseases, benign and malignant lesions in the jaw bones, disabled patients and dentist approach
