Course Objectives: This course aims to teach students the principles of endodontic access cavity
preparation, the importance of patency, and mechanical (manual and rotational)
preparation of the root canal system

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of this course, the students will be able to:

1. Recognize the tooth morphology.
2. Learn how to use tools, equipment, and materials used in root canal treatment.
3. Isolate the teeth with a rubber dam.
4. Create an endodontic access cavity that can open access cavity in each group
of teeth.
5. Prepare the root canal with nickel-titanium files.
6. Disinfect the root canal system.
7. Obturate the root canal system.
8. Perform retreatment procedures.
