Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to examine the human body from cell to tissue, from tissue to organ; to examine the systems formed by organs structurally and functionally and to understand how these system work in harmony to maintain the human body homeostasis. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; By the end of this course, students taking the course: 1. Explain the structure and functions of organs and systems that form the human body with general concepts. 2. Defines the structure and functions of cells and cell organelles. 3. Defines the structural and functional differences between skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscles. 4. Defines the structure and function of blood. 5. Defines the cardiovascular system structurally and functionally. In addition, learns the important elements and variables of this system. 6. Defines the components of the circulatory system and the physiological importance of these components. 7.Defines the components of the respiratory system and the importance and functions of these components in human life. 8. Defines the structural and functional differences between the central and peripheral nervous systems. 9. Defines the structural and functional changes of the kidney system necessary to maintain human body homeostasis. 10. Explain the role and cooperation between the nervous system and the endocrine system. 11. Explain the structures and functions of male and female reproductive systems. 12. Defines the structure and functions of the gastrointestinal tract |
