Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to have students make tooth preparations in accordance with different types of fixed dental prostheses and to establish different finishing lines on typodont teeth. At the same time, it is aimed to obtain silicone indexes, make temporary restorations and make impressions on artificial models with different conventional techniques.

Learning Outputs

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
1. Perform preparation in accordance with the planned fixed restoration.
2. Distinguish different finishing lines and apply them on the typodont teeth.
3. Evaluate the depth of preparation with the guidance of the created silicon indexes.
4. Know the differences in preparation between full and partial coverage crowns and perform them.
5. Apply single and two-step impression techniques on the artificial model.
6. Make the appropriate preparation to create sufficient distance to the restorative material in partial coverage restorations such as inlay and onlay.
7. Perform laminate veneer preparation with butt joint incisal margin.
8. Perform the insertion of post and preparation of post-core
